ANN ARBOR
"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls on the group and dies, it reamins only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds."
John 12:24
Vision Statement
Living Water CRC is a Gospel-centered, multiethnic church plant in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, Michigan---committed to worshipping the Triune God, multiplying disciple makers, and plant churches globally - by living under Christ's Kingship and sharing His love across all cultures, through the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.
WHy Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti?
Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are neighboring cities with distinct yet urgent spiritual needs. Ann Arbor, shaped by the University of Michigan, is affluent and highly educated. Many here seek identity through ideologies, achievement, or wellness culture—yet quietly wrestle with loneliness and spiritual confusion. Ypsilanti, by contrast, is a predominantly working-class city with significant Black and Hispanic populations. Though marked by economic and social challenges, Ypsi is rich in creativity, cultural resilience, and spiritual hunger.
Living Water is strategically located between these two cities to embody the Gospel for both. The good news of Jesus speaks to the intellectual and the laborer, the immigrant and the lifelong local. We are called to bear witness to Christ’s love across racial, economic, and cultural lines.
